CartTycoon stores your game state in your browser's localStorage — on your device, not on our servers. This includes: virtual credits, haul/inventory, cart, wishlist, orders and CartRunner tracking state, streaks, missions, savings goals, waitlists, onboarding state, Plus Pass state, Lucky Wheel state and Shopping Rush results.

Most CartTycoon progress is currently stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data, switch devices or use a different browser, your virtual credits, haul, streaks, waitlists and goals may be lost.

Like almost every website, serving CartTycoon may process your IP address, browser type, device type and request logs for security and operational purposes (for example rate limiting, abuse prevention and error diagnosis). CartTycoon uses third-party hosting providers who may process this data as data processors where applicable.

• No account or login exists — we hold no usernames, emails or passwords.
• No payment data is collected — nothing in the game charges real money.
• No real shipping address is collected — no real products are shipped.
• No analytics or marketing cookies are used, unless explicitly added later (this policy would be updated first).

If you send feedback or questions to hello@carttycoon.com, we process your email address and message content to reply and improve the game. Please do not send sensitive personal information by email.

Where personal data is processed (hosting logs, email correspondence), we rely on our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the service, and in communicating with people who contact us.

Game state lives in your browser until you clear it. Hosting logs are retained for the short periods our hosting providers use for security and operations. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• request erasure,
• request restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@carttycoon.com. You can also delete all locally stored game data yourself at any time (see the Cookie & LocalStorage Notice).

CartTycoon is operated from Sweden (EU), and MDM Koncept processes personal data in accordance with GDPR where applicable. If you use CartTycoon from outside the EU, the small amount of data described above is handled the same way.

CartTycoon is not intended for children under 16.

If we add features that change data handling (accounts, sync, analytics or real payments — none of which exist today), this policy will be updated first and the "last updated" date will change.
