Terms of Use

CartTycoon is a virtual shopping game and entertainment experience — it is not a webshop. You browse a fictional catalog, buy items with Cart Cash (virtual in-game currency), build a virtual collection ("My Haul"), play game modes and chase virtual dream items. It exists to satisfy shopping cravings in a fun, harmless way.

CartTycoon does not sell physical goods. No real products are ordered and nothing ships. No real money is charged in the current game.

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.

Every product, price, discount, review, rating, seller, delivery and stock level in CartTycoon is fictional and part of the game, and may change at any time. The checkout is a virtual checkout: completing it deducts Cart Cash and adds virtual items to My Haul. No real order is placed with anyone, no real shipping address is collected, and nothing physical is produced or delivered. No payment card or other real payment method is required for normal gameplay.

Cart Cash is virtual in-game currency. It has no monetary value, and is not a stored-value payment product or cryptocurrency.

You cannot withdraw, cash out, redeem or sell Cart Cash or virtual items for money — or for real goods, services or anything of real-world value. Cart Cash is earned and spent only inside the game. Selling, buying or transferring Cart Cash or virtual items for real money outside the game is not supported and is prohibited.

There is currently no marketplace, auction system or player-to-player trading of any kind — Cart Cash, virtual items and accounts cannot be transferred between players unless a future feature explicitly supports it (and this page would be updated first).

Haul Value is an estimated virtual gameplay value assigned to items in your collection, used for in-game stats and leaderboard ranking. It is generated by the game's internal logic and can change as the game's virtual market moves.

Haul Value is not a real appraisal, not a guaranteed resale value, and not financial advice. Do not rely on it for any real purchase, investment or financial decision.

The Lucky Wheel, daily streak rewards, missions, badges, Shopping Rush scores, savings goals and waitlists are game mechanics only, for entertainment.

Lucky Wheel prizes, streak rewards and badges are virtual game rewards only. No cash prizes. No real-money gambling or wagering. Spins never cost real money, prizes are never real money or real goods, and nothing can be cashed out or redeemed. Leaderboard positions are for entertainment — rankings and the values behind them may change or be recalculated, and no real-money prize is awarded for any rank.

Waitlists are virtual game mechanics — joining a waitlist does not reserve, order or ship any real product.

CartRunner is a fictional simulated courier. Tracking pages, route maps, delivery steps and delivery times are entertainment. Nothing is picked up, transported or delivered in the real world.

CartTycoon Plus Pass is currently paid with Cart Cash only. No real-money subscription is charged. The Plus Pass is an in-game membership: activating or extending it deducts Cart Cash and unlocks in-game benefits for a limited in-game period. It is not a real subscription, it does not renew against any payment method, and no payment details are collected.

You can play CartTycoon as a guest, with progress stored only in your browser — no account is required. Signing in with an email link or code is optional and lets you keep a cloud-saved copy of your progress across devices; see the Privacy Policy for what account data that involves.

You are responsible for access to the email address or account you sign in with. Guest progress that is never linked to an account may be lost if you clear your browser data, switch browsers, or switch devices. Cloud-saved data may be temporarily unavailable during outages or maintenance. We do our best to keep progress intact, but we cannot promise that save data — guest or cloud — can never be lost, corrupted or reset (see Section 12, Beta / soft launch).

You may set a public username ("public name") that can appear on the public leaderboard alongside your virtual Haul Value and collection stats. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Public names must not be offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, illegal, misleading, or impersonate CartTycoon staff or any official role. Avoid using your real full name or other personally identifying information in a public name. CartTycoon may block, reset or remove a public name that violates these rules, including through automated checks.

CartTycoon is in soft launch. Bugs, display errors, and downtime may occur. Features, virtual product values, Cart Cash balances, Haul Value calculations, leaderboard rules, rewards and streaks may change over time, including rebalancing. Where reasonably necessary — for example for security, bug fixes, balancing, or major technical changes — we may need to reset or adjust some game data. We'll try to keep this to a minimum and avoid it wherever practical, but it cannot be fully ruled out during this stage of the game.

CartTycoon may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued at any time, in whole or in part. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that every feature will work identically on every browser or device.

• Use CartTycoon for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
• Do not attempt to exploit bugs to disrupt the service for others.
• Do not misrepresent CartTycoon as a real store, marketplace or delivery service.
• You are responsible for the device and browser you use to play.

• Selling, buying or trading Cart Cash or virtual items for real money.
• Using the service for any real-money gambling or wagering activity.
• Choosing an offensive, illegal, misleading, or impersonating public name.
• Scraping, copying or redistributing the catalog, imagery or code beyond what the law permits.
• Attacking, overloading or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Using CartTycoon in any way that violates applicable law.

The CartTycoon name, logo, interface, game systems, product catalog, generated imagery and text are owned by MDM Koncept or its licensors. All brands and products inside the game are fictional; any resemblance to real brands is unintentional. You do not receive any ownership of virtual game content — you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for entertainment.

CartTycoon is not specifically directed at young children. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, please use CartTycoon with the involvement or permission of a parent or guardian. This section reflects current product policy and has not been reviewed against every jurisdiction's specific age-of-consent rules for online services — treat it as guidance rather than a fixed legal age limit.

CartTycoon is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free — to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MDM Koncept is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the loss of Cart Cash, Haul Value, virtual items or game progress. This section does not exclude or limit any liability, or any consumer or data-protection right, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when features change — including updates to accounts, cloud save, or (if this ever changes from the current no-real-money model) payments. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
